Alma de la Marciana blanco

Alma Blanco follows in the footsteps of its older sister. It is crafted with the same winemaking spirit as La Marciana Blanco but comes from younger vineyard plots, aged between 35 and 50 years, with a clear focus on fruit. It combines the power of Garnacha with the freshness of our selection of the finest White Tempranillo grapes and the flavor and fruitiness of our Sauvignon. This is a wine ready to drink, offering fresh, ripe, tropical fruit and good minerality. a delicacy, just lovely.

    Production: 2.100 bottles
    Weather: A year of erratic weather - a difficult harvest due to rain at the end of the growing season.
    Harvest: 28/08/2024 - 09/09/2024 and 15/09/2024 depending on the plot
    Peculiarity: A very good vintage with explosive aromas

    Production: 6.720 bottles
    Weather: a year marked by a dry, hot summer and a rainy autumn.
    Harvest: 20/09/2023 and 02/10/2023
    Peculiarity: a year marked by a lot of selection work in vineyard and winery, and thanks to this, very good fresh and balanced wines.

Made by Philipp Ott & Álvaro Serrano, one of the youngest, full-time winemakers in Rioja, this is a well-judged assemblage of Sauvignon Blanc and 5% each of Garnacha Blanca and Tempranillo Blanco from Andosilla in Navarra. Entirely unoaked, it has a touch of good nreduction, layers of elderflower, nettle and grapefruit and a herbal finish. 2026-29
